at times nature can be cruel, but there is also a raw beauty, and even a certain justice manifested within that cruelty.
the alligator, one of the oldest and ultimate predators, normally considered the ‘ apex predator ‘, can still fall victim to implemented ‘ team work ‘ strategy, made possible due to the tight knit social structure and 'survival of the pack mentality' bred into the canines.

note that the alpha dog has a muzzle hold on the gator preventing it from breathing, while another dog has a hold on the tail to keep it from thrashing. the third dog attacks the soft underbelly of the gator .
SMALLER COLLAR DIET BONE
for the dog that needs to lose a few pounds...
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup skim milk
1 tablespoon margarine
1/12 cup shredded reduced fat cheddar cheese
3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. dissolve bouillon cubes in warm water. mix shredded cheese with flour. add skim milk, margarine, and beef broth. knead dough until firm, and roll to 1/4' thickness. stamp out with cookie cutter and place on ungreased cookie sheet. bake at 360 degrees for 30 minutes. makes 2 1/2 dozen.
HOWL ABOUT A MINT?
whew doogy! time for some furresh minty barks!
1 tablespon vegetable oil
1 cup water
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
2 tablespoons dried mint (or 1/3 cup chopped fresh mint)
1/3 cup parsley
preheat oven to 375 degrees. in a large bowl combine oil and water. gradually add flour, oatmeal, mint, and parsley. roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness. cut with cookie cutter. place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. makes 2 dozen.

incase you didn't know, french bulldogs are prone to health issues mainly because of their smooshed up faces. they have the hardest time breathing and more health problems than any other kind of dog, including great danes and english bulldogs.
